Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Buzzy website, forms, and related services made available by rckt corp., operating Buzzy (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Services

Buzzy provides services related to rent-reporting workflows and supporting website functionality, which may include:

• Determining whether a payment account, rent transaction, or historical record can be used for rent reporting.
• Collection and verification of rent-payment information you provide directly or through approved integrations.
• Submission of eligible information to participating credit bureaus or reporting partners.
• Educational content and customer support related to these Services.

Certain features may be unavailable, limited, or subject to additional requirements depending on your location, product configuration, connected payment data, supporting documentation, participating partners, and the status of the Buzzy offering at the time you sign up.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Services. You are responsible for the information and materials you submit, including any bank-account, payment-history, or supporting documentation used in connection with rent reporting.

3. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on third-party providers, including Plaid for bank connectivity, analytics providers such as PostHog, hosting providers, API providers, and reporting or verification partners. Your use of certain features may also be subject to those third parties' terms and privacy policies.

4. No Credit Score Guarantee

Buzzy does not guarantee that use of the Services will increase your credit score, improve your credit profile, qualify you for any product, or produce any particular financial outcome. Credit results vary based on many factors, including the contents of your existing credit file, participating bureau practices, and the completeness and accuracy of information available for reporting.

5. Reporting and Timing

Account matching, transaction selection, verification, submission, and bureau processing times vary. Buzzy does not guarantee that any information will be accepted, reported, displayed on a credit file, or displayed within a specific time period.

6. Fees and Billing

Some Services may require payment of fees. If fees apply, they will be disclosed at or before sign-up. Unless expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once services have begun, verification work has been initiated, or reporting activity has been performed.

If recurring services are offered, you are responsible for applicable subscription charges until cancellation takes effect under the plan terms presented at sign-up.

Unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout or in writing, Buzzy does not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel a recurring plan, cancellation applies at the end of the current billing term, and the current month or term is not refunded.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized purposes.
• Submit false, misleading, altered, or unauthorized information or documents.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, infrastructure, or security of Buzzy or its providers.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the Services if we believe a user has violated these Terms, submitted inaccurate or unauthorized information, created legal or operational risk, or if the Services are modified, discontinued, or no longer available.

9. Educational Content Only

Content made available through the Services is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, credit, or other professional advice.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buzzy and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising out of or related to the Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Buzzy for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose, or, if you paid nothing, one hundred Canadian dollars.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Buzzy and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your submitted information, or your violation of these Terms.

13. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Requests to access, correct, or delete personal information should be submitted through our support channels or the account-deletion request form on this website. We may retain limited information where required or permitted by law, including for compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, billing records, or enforcement of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. By continuing to use the Services after updated Terms become effective, you agree to the revised Terms.
